Description Of Work: We had a new house built and all new cabinetry from Page woodworking.
Comments: They did a fantastic job at capturing what I imagined my cabinets looking like. I have dark cherry cabinets throughout my house and they look amazing. They were very helpful with ideas and helping me decide what my options were, they were also relaxed and not pushing me to make any decisions before I was ready. They matched the table I brought in perfectly and allowed me to double-check the match before they started staining my cabinets
Description Of Work: Page Woodworking is a custom cabinet builder. Page Woodworking provided design work for our kitchen remodel. They built cabinets, complete with finish of our choice and provided the installtion. They do not do the general construction (except installation), removal, electical, plumbing, etc. work although they may be able to suggest contractors for this. The initial installation was in June (19th-20th) on the date promised. They returned in July after the granite was installed to complete the installation.
Comments: We first met Adam Page and his designer April Dick at the Grand Rapids Home Show in March 2012. We had already received cabinet quotes (and designs) from a couple cabinet suppliers and decided to attend the Home Show to see other area businesses providing cabinets and design help. We talked to a couple “custom” builders, Adam being one of them. We were immediately impressed with the quality of his cabinets on display and talked with him and April on our upcoming project. Our kitchen redesign was a complete makeover, including bulkhead removal and appliance relocation. We discussed our options and decided to work with April on a design and get a quote from them. The thought of getting “custom” cabinets, made to our exact dimensions, etc., made local to us in Grand Rapids was intriguing over ordering standard size cabinets built in some other state. Adam made the first visit to our house and gave us some ideas, took measurements, and gave us an estimate of cabinet cost. He explained if we decided to proceed we would then work with his designer April and finalize the design. We decided to proceed and April gave us some great ideas for the kitchen. She was great to work with. We went back and forth a few times and finalized the design. The final price was extremely competitive to the standard cabinets we had quoted from others. I might add that the quality and materials used (no composite sides, quality hinges etc) were better too.
The cabinets were ready and delivered on the date they were promised. The next day the installers arrived and over the course of a couple days installed all but one section of counter to ceiling cabinets. These had to be installed after the granite counter top was in place. To that point, the installers returned the day after the granite installation and completed the cabinet installation.
All in all this project went as smooth as one could imagine. April and Adam are a joy to work with and are extrmemly “customer focused”. April even made a couple trips back to our house when I had questons with the construction work I was doing and wanted to verify cabinets dimensions. The communication was great as well as follow up calls to make sure everything was going OK during the installation. I recommended them to my sister who ended up also using them and all went well for her too and she is very happy with the outcome.
I highly recommend anyone looking for cabinets, give Page Woodworking a call.
